February 14, 2025 Dr. Anna Margolina will present From Loss and Grief to Love and Growth: Hypnosis for Dealing with Death and Dying

By Jodie Solberg

NGHWA (National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington Chapter) loves to connect, educate the public about hypnosis and its applications and grow professionally. We look forward to meeting Saturday, (Happy Valentine’s Day) February 14, from 10:00am to noon at the Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 58th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace. Dr Anna Margolina will be presenting From Loss and Grief to Love and Growth: Hypnosis for Dealing with Death and Dying. Death and dying are topics most Western people are deeply uncomfortable with. Whether it’s their own end of life or if it’s someone close to them, they don’t know how to deal with it. Dr. Anna was fortunate to attend a presentation from a hospice nurse, who uses hypnosis in her work. When Anna started using the process she learned, she was astonished at the results. In this presentation, Dr. Anna will share this process and do a live demo. Anna will offer two giveaways – a book and a free 60-minute Zoom session! (Will you be one of the lucky winners?) Dr. Anna Margolina, Ph.D. is a scientist who became a hypnotherapist, energy healer, and mind/body wellness guide. With a passion for bridging science and spirituality, Dr. Anna integrates the wisdom of Eastern energy practices with the precision of Western hypnotherapy and NLP. Drawing from neuroscience, NLP, hypnotherapy, and energy medicine, Dr. Anna developed a unique, integrative method, which dissolves fears and limitations and creates alignment, empowerment and freedom.https://annamargolina.com/ | anna@amargolina.com | 425-533-645 PLEASE NOTE UPDATED ZOOM LINK: If you would like to attend this meeting over Zoom, please log in around 10:20 a.m. to https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5943376847 Please SIGN IN to our Meetup listing to let us know you will be attending!  https://www.meetup.com/nghwa-hypnosis-and-hypnotherapy-meetup-group/events The January 2026 World Hypnosis Day Conference was a SUCCESS!We enjoyed a day of expertise, learning, laughter and connection! November 8, 2025 Tina Worthey will be presenting Using Head, Heart, and Gut in Hypnosis.

By Jodie Solberg

NGHWA (National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington Chapter) loves to connect, educate the public about hypnosis and its applications and grow professionally.  We look forward to meeting Saturday, November 8, from 10:00am to noon at the Greenwood Library, 8016 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle.  Tina Worthey will be presenting Using Head, Heart, and Gut in Hypnosis.       Do you ever feel in conflict where your head tells you one thing, but your heart may feel something different? As a society, we have come to rely on what our analytical mind informs us – often not taking into consideration our other systems of intelligence, i.e., our heart, gut, and body. My favorite definition of hypnosis is from James Tripp: “Hypnosis is the engagement of a person‘s beliefs and imagination and creating for them an alternative subjective reality.” When we get stuck in repetitive patterns, it’s useful to shift our perceptions. I have found that the head/heart/gut frame is a very useful tool in helping people transform their internal conflicts. In this talk, I will demonstrate how we can utilize the different intelligent systems we all possess as humans to more fully inform the daily decisions we make.      Tina is the owner of Open Heart Open Mind Hypnotherapy. She has worked with clients since 2006, helping them facilitate change. Her approach is holistic, recognizing that we are multidimensional beings – each of us on our unique journey of self-expression. Connect with Tiana at https://openheartopenmindtherapy.com/ or tina@email.openheartopenmindtherapy.com     Bring your business cards so we have each other’s contact information to connect and for referrals! Several of us go to lunch after the Chapter meeting! We would love to get to know you better!       If you would like to attend this meeting over Zoom, please log in around 10:15 a.m. to https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8706412 8577        Please SIGN IN to our Meetup listing to let us know you will be attending!  https://www.meetup.com/nghwa-hypnosis-and-hypnotherapy-meetup-group/events

September 13, 2025 Chapter Meeting-Anthony Gitch will present Beyond Scripts: Delivering Rapid, Lasting Change with the CONTROL System

By Jodie Solberg

NGHWA (National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington Chapter) loves to connect, educate the public about hypnosis and its applications and grow professionally. We look forward to meeting on Saturday, September 13 from 10:00am to noon at the Northgate Library, 10548 5th Ave NE, Seattle, WA.  Anthony Gitch will present Beyond Scripts: Delivering Rapid, Lasting Change with the CONTROL System. As hypnotists, we know transformation is possible – but we also know some clients hit roadblocks. They don’t “go deep enough,” resist suggestion, or keep looping through the same story. That’s where the CONTROL System changes everything. CONTROL is a direct, client-led method that bypasses traditional induction and trance depth concerns, giving you a simple, repeatable framework to create rapid, measurable change in the first session. I’ll share case studies along with my own experiences using this process with clients. This talk isn’t theory I will be giving you a peek behind the curtain of the October CONTROL Practitioner Training, where you’ll learn to apply this system for anxiety, habits and more,. No scripts. No dependence on suggestibility tests. Just results your clients can feel immediately. If you want to expand your practice, command higher fees, and work more efficiently while delivering outcomes that make clients your best marketers, CONTROL belongs in your toolkit. Anthony Gitch is the current Chair of the WA State Dept. of Health Certified Counselors and Hypnotherapists Advisory Committee. A Certified CONTROL Trainer, ICBCH Certified Hypnosis Instructor, NGH Consulting Hypnotist, and IAHP Master Hypnotist, he is also a speaker, author, and licensed massage therapist. Creator of the NeuroRelief™ Method, Anthony offers a nationally approved CE course blending hypnotic pain relief principles with Ortho-Bionomy® to promote total body proprioception re-education for bodyworkers. The training is online and the dates are October 4, 5, 11, 12, 2025. Anthony is offering a 50% discount to NGH-WA members!
