Do you ever feel in conflict where your head tells you one thing, but your heart may feel something different? As a society, we have come to rely on what our analytical mind informs us – often not taking into consideration our other systems of intelligence, i.e., our heart, gut, and body. My favorite definition of hypnosis is from James Tripp: “Hypnosis is the engagement of a person‘s beliefs and imagination and creating for them an alternative subjective reality.” When we get stuck in repetitive patterns, it’s useful to shift our perceptions. I have found that the head/heart/gut frame is a very useful tool in helping people transform their internal conflicts. In this talk, I will demonstrate how we can utilize the different intelligent systems we all possess as humans to more fully inform the daily decisions we make.
