Jodie Solberg, SFTI Method: A Trauma-Informed Hypnotic Approach to Lasting Physical Change on July 11 at Northeast Library

NGHWA (National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington Chapter) loves to connect, educate the public about hypnosis and its applications and grow professionally.

Hello Fellow Hypnotists,

We look forward to meeting this Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00am to noon at the Northeast Library, 6801 35th Avenue NE, Seattle.

Dr. Jodie Solberg will present The SFTI Method of Mind-Body Transformation: A Trauma-Informed Hypnotic Approach to Lasting Physical Change.
Physical symptoms often tell a deeper story. While many hypnotherapy approaches focus on reducing or eliminating symptoms, the SFTI (Solution Focused Trauma Informed) Method seeks to understand why the subconscious mind created those symptoms in the first place.

In this educational presentation, SFTI Hypnosis Academy co-founder Dr. Jodie Solberg introduces the SFTI Method of Mind-Body Transformation, a clinical framework developed with her business partner, Cormac Colleran, that integrates solution-focused hypnosis, trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and subconscious change work. Participants will explore how unresolved emotional experiences, chronic stress, limiting beliefs, and protective subconscious patterns can contribute to physical conditions such as chronic pain, weight challenges, digestive disorders, autoimmune presentations, and other stress-related symptoms.

Drawing from both neuroscience and years of clinical practice, this presentation demonstrates how working with the subconscious mind can support meaningful physical transformation while remaining within the ethical scope of hypnotherapy. Jodie will illustrate how practitioners can identify the emotional and psychological drivers of physical symptoms and facilitate lasting change by addressing root causes rather than managing symptoms alone.

Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection, the core principles of the SFTI Method, and practical strategies they can begin incorporating into their clinical practice immediately.

Dr. Jodie Solberg is a Certified Master Clinical Hypnotherapist, international speaker, and best-selling author, and co-founder of the SFTI Hypnosis Academy, where she trains Hypnotherapists worldwide. In her private practice, Psyched Up Success, she specializes in issues such as anxiety, addiction, and physical health challenges resulting from trauma. She serves as President of the NGH Washington Chapter and on the boards of the North American Hypnotherapy Guild and the Hypnosis Education Association. In 2025, Jodie was named Hypnotherapist of the Year by the Michigan International Hypnosis Conference.
